Stop, collaborate and listen

“Alright stop, collaborate and listen”. Vanilla Ice, the Simon Sinek of his day, here showing the 80’s was clearly more visionary than big hair, cassettes and The Karate Kid. All those are back and buying into them is optional (except for the default hair), but collaboration is the key word for the new economy, so thanks Iceman.

Weetabix and Heinz entertained/created the new must try influencer challenge. Palace Skateboards and Stella Artois mash up classic Stella old world ads with skateboard culture in a new TV ad. The Flexible Packaging Consortium (Ella's Kitchen, Mars Food, Nestlé, Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate) has just published the results of its link up with recycling experts SUEZ UK pooling knowledge for the biggest impact on waste reduction. And category thinking from the likes of Burger King championing buying from their rivals was right for the moment when the fast food industry needed collective support.

The same goes for agencies and individuals in marketing, where the 'Hollywood model' of right team for the right task opens up a more flexible and creative future shape for the smartest strategies and ideas.

The best collaborations get people talking. So what are the ones that stand out for you? Or more interestingly are crying out to be a thing??
